My iPhone shows a WIFi signal strength indicator on the top left menu when connected via WiFi. My iPad (WiFi only model) does not. I can' t seem to find a setting to enable it anywhere nor can I find anyone else having the same issue. Am I missing something?

If you have a wifi network selected, you should see the indicator. Are you getting a good Internet connection over wifi, but just no indicator?
The graphic you are talking about will only be displayed if your wifi is on and you are connected to a network.
It will show it in the top left corner next to "iPad" if you are connected to a wireless network. To discover best signal coverage, open Settings > WiFi. And it'll show the strength with a faster ping.
I just read another post that said they fixed this problem by resetting network settings and reconnecting.
Go to Settings, General, reset, reset network settings.
That did the trick, thanks. The question is, what made it disappear in the first place? Hopefully, this post will help others and get Apple to fix this biug.
Note to others: Doing the reset did not forget my known networks as I did not have to re-enter my network keys.
